  7. Thanks. Will try but getting to a location which allows side on shots of a 201 is a bit difficult. Have managed to get some shots of an 071 today which may help modellers detail their new 071 model. Pictures are full resolution, which is about A2 in size: http://smu.gs/Qlk3SV
  8. Hi all, Today 29007 hauled two of the Alsthom DART (8201/8401 & 8203/8405) from Fairview EMU Depot to Inchicore Works in Dublin. 12. I was fortunate to photograph both sets when they were delivered in 2007 and again in 2012. Taken in Limerick Junction on 12/12/2007: 22010: 22011: North Wall 21/08/12: 22010: 22011:
  13. Hi all, Five years ago as part of the initial order of 22000 DMUs for Ireland, 22010 and 22011 were delivered. However they suffered serious internal corrosion during their transit from South Korea caused by other cargo on board the ship, were not accepted by Irish Rail and were returned to the factory where they were built. Today 082 hauled the replacement 22010 and 22011 from Dublin Port to Inchicore, and barring no problems with these sets, it should mark the end of the 22000 order. 22011 (or should it be 22011-A?) is seen on the rear of the stock move at North Wall, with 082 providing the haulage: Also while down there I got 083 on the empty Tara: 226 on the IWT liner: And NIR sets 3003 & 3004 filling in on an Enterprise service at Dublin Connolly: All shots from today's update start here: http://smu.gs/PbxVyw Enjoy!

  18. Hi all, Popped down to North Wall Yard today in Dublin: 079 was there with the Sperry train. Problems on the Northern Line delayed its departure: It also seems timely to photograph the stored Mark 3s as the tender for their disposal closed two days ago. How long they have left to live is unknown, but probably not too long: Enjoy!
  19. ^Many thanks! The RPSI ran another one of their 'Dublin Shuttles' today and although I may be biased, I'm glad to say it took in the former GNRI route to Drogheda. It also ran a second shuttle service from Drogheda to Skerries to Drogheda before returning back to Dublin. 461 and the Cravens were used throughout. I managed to get shots of it at the following locations. Malahide: Skerries: And of course in Balbriggan: All of the shots from today, including 461 using the loop at Skerries to perform the run-round, can be found starting here: http://smu.gs/OT7i19 Enjoy!
