This photo shows the middle section permanently applied and the polyfilla all smoothed off. The window in the van compartment that needed filled in has since been done and on the other side of the body, a window has had to be shortened as on the DBSO it is actually a door, so the window was slightly too big. Photos to follow soon.

This photo shows the front end of the DBSO. At this stage the middle section was just blu-tacked on to make sure everything worked ok. Pollyfilla had to be applied to the side of this to separate the 3 windows. The polyfilla very roughly applied at this stage! Later to be smoothed off

Thanks burnthebox! This photo shows the bit of plastic to cover the van compartment window, which was then filled in with filla. Also shows the side cab window marked out.

Hello all! New to the site so decided to post photos and updates of my first proper 'project'. Currently in the middle of converting an Airfix mk2e half brake into a DBSO driving trailer, which will go into NIR livery (The full scale version of this is preserved at the DCDR) . Andrew
