I just love that layout. Your 141 sounds well. Have you got used to the coasting and braking? I just love driving that Zimo chip. Its the most authentic way of driving a train I've experienced so far.

I tweaked some of the sound CVs and also some of the motor drive CVs on my 141 (i.e. Keith's chip) to get scale running speeds without loosing the notch down when target cruise speed was attained. Its just the most fun I've ever had driving a loco.

It's a nice layout alright Noel, and

I love getting a chance to run some of

my own trains on it.The 141 realdrive is

so enjoyable and and had a very nice feel

to it.I did not capture the coasting very well

on the video as the MK3 train derailed a couple

of times right at the wrong time.

A few photos from a very enjoyable evening of watching trains on this layout.

I brought my own 107 for the short CIE goods and 073 is on the cement, with 187 on beet dutys.

About two weeks ago I got this video from this

layout, which unfortunately will be the last post,

as the owner is moving house and the layout will be no more.

As all stock was packed away,I grabbed some of my

own stock, and put this video together.

For the past number of years I have posted on behalf of the

owner, lots of of video and photos on this site.

I hope people will go back through the previous pages

of"The Deeps" and enjoy.

Eamonn

Hi Eamonn. Sorry to hear this wonderful layout will 'be no more'. Really enjoyed looking at and reading your posts on 'The Deeps'. It was a truly superb looking layout. 36 years ago when I moved house the layout had to be abandoned in the attic, and only rolling stock and some parts off it were salvageable, but the track, baseboards and scenery had to be left. It caused some distress at the time, but I vowed if I ever built a layout again, that it would be 'moveable' in bolt together sections. Hope the owner will be able to build another layout in their new home. Thanks again for all the entertaining posts. Noel
