Cross wind, air pressure, and a host of other factors can't get current aircraft to land on a 4 inch centre line of a runway perfectly, no mind into a perfect gauge rail system. Absolute nonsense.

Have to agree with Glendereg, the engineer/designer that dreamt this one up is most likely in a straight jacket, if not, he/she should be!

Agree the first second I saw this I knew it could not even cope with a 5kt cross wind never mind a 20kt one. 100% ridiculous.

might be better than the new bus lanes proposed for Dublin. Think of all the gardens which would be saved !

They'd never manage to have it in the right livery..... they'd probably paint the ironwork black....
