Who’s buying? 😁

I paid, set the precedent last week when I picked up those two DRS 37's and went for a steak meal and bottle of wine.

Have a look in your Downloads - they turned up in there and I (eventually) managed to see them - very nice, too.

I'll repost proper once home, travelling and was uploading from my phone, which doesn't appear to have been a success.

I have to apologise about some of the pics where you can see some underwear
There have been some burglaries in the parish and the thieves are targeting ladies underwear

Its not the loss of her drawers that is upsetting Granny Bracken, its the loss of the 10 pegs to hold each pair on the line!!!

When new, the grilles on the genny vans were not all black as on the model. The orange / tan continued across them top and bottom.

Not only are they the wrong colour the vents on the model are the vents that were retrofitted by IE towards in the latter years of the Mk2's  5408 still has the original vents .

For those who never saw them, it's also worth pointing out that the black roofs were a very late addition, long after the post-1987 "tippex" stripes were added. the above pic is of one fairly newly repainted when it was taken.

That's the presenident coach. Actually like that for years at the time. In store under cover in Inchicore. The black roofs started to appear early 2000s. There was even a few grey roofs but they didn't last long.

Ah, yes, that's when it was going to Whitehead! It had been repainted for that.

Yeah, I believe it took a few attempts to get there. I think just after that photo was taken 8208 removed 5408 and put in the Connolly Vallet plant. At the time they said they believed the coach was out of gauge to go North which I found very odd if true.

I had sent my six coaches off to get weathered and just got word back from the service provider that one set of wheels is missing from the diner coach. I had only opened two to view and never opened the diner so the delay in finding this out is my own fault.

The gent has contacted MM about it for a replacement, but would it also be worth advising the retailer?

Anyone else had a similar situation with these or any other MM rolling stock

Hi Mark, how did the MKIIs turn out and can you recommend a good weatherer?

Weathering is coming along nicely,  had sent the six coaches and fifteen bubbles so it was a big job, plus the gent is working shifts but I'm in no rush.

Here is the generator van, I asked for a good medium dirty weathering application. I think I got exactly what I was looking for. Bubbles also are really good looking.
