Description
Hi all,
As requested by some members I have made up some fertiliser wagon transfers. The images are examples only! You will receive enough transfers to complete 4 IRM fertiliser wagon loads. To do a complete rake of 8 wagons you will need to order 2 packs. The transfers have been so spaced so that you can cut down the centre lines, let them soak in some water (not too long) and then slide the single piece over the double pallet load, speeding up the process. The transfer material should not be pushed down into all the bag mould lines as this is not realistic when you look at pictures of these wrapped pallets. For optimal results the transfer should however be pushed down into the divot between the pallets (the IRM loads are cast in a single piece but represent 2 stacks of pallets, back to back!) to reinforce the illusion of the pallets being distinct from one another. The overhang can just be trimmed to size or more likely just smoothed down around the edges/sides.
These transfers are NOT designed for use on pallet loads that are visible from the side. They are designed to provide a convincing illusion of pallet wrap when the sides of the loads are concealed as they are when placed into the fertiliser wagon. See pic of finished loads in IRM wagon.
The price may seem high for a bit of transfer paper treated with lacquer varnish but the materials alone are costing a quarter of the asking price and I have put in several hours creating the graphic from a crappy old jpeg I found, converting it to a high resolution vector graphic and experimenting with the layout and spacing on the sheet and surface treatments to seal the prints. Anything less would be me completely undervaluing my own time to be honest.
Price includes uninsured shipping in a plain envelope. Sheets will be cut down to fit in the smallest envelope to keep the costs down.
Please PM me to order. I have prepared 5 packs from my remaining stocks of transfer paper. More is on order but there may be a short delay in producing the next batch.
Any questions please ask here and any feedback welcome, positive or negative.
Thanks for your interest,
Phil
