Ah thats sad, My ship of choice for the Airshow trips until they changed the timings. Great fish n chjps and comfy seats for a good kip.
Irish Ferries turned me off that time when the got rid of all the staff and hired a load of cheap labour in.

I remember having a basic Airfix one of those when I was a kid.
Thought it was a good idea to use the top oven as a 'hanger' - unfortunately, it hadn't cooled down enough, and one of the wings got a bit 'melty'...
Ouch! Reminds me a a friend who is far from thick though it would be an idea to put a model in a hot oven to make the paint dry quicker. it did not end well.
The Airfix one was the prototype as well, Never the in Service jobs and I made that years back.

Temporary problems with Accurascale shipping here, most likely due to that Royal Mail cyber mess a few months ago, so I was unable to make use of the offer.
However, I couldn't resist buying one from Hatton's at full price in order to see it with my own eyes, and it just arrived a few minutes ago.
Wow, what a wagon! The detail is out of this world. Not knocking OO Gauge models in any way, but O gauge offers a bigger canvas and Accurascale have made the most of it.
Nice weight to the wagon, too.
I don't know anything about O Gauge couplings but I assume that these couplings are a kind of industry standard.
Stunning wagon, and the size, it just looks so massive alongside a OO wagon!
Grey ones knocked down now along with some other bits n bobs

Decided to treat myself to a few things this week after flogging off a good bit of stuff I will never use. 2 sound decoders for a 141 / 181 from roads and rails. Speaker fits in without any surgery. Also a dapol signal controller an SR Signal. The signals do add an extra dimension. I suspect the GWR ones with a replaced arm would do for irish. So easy to install although the Dynamis programming did not work so the Z21 came to the rescue here and so easy

How Long did you have it on the Track, I take it you had the blanking plate still in.
Could you kaputted the motor. did this with a N gauge loco some time ago by accident, Had 2 of the same locos, the non DCC motor cooked up.
