  1. Or more in the various 'core' liveries will always be welcome!!
  2. Hi. Looking for a Skip Lorry similar to the Photo below in 1:76. Seems that every type of vehicle is out there but can't seem to find anyone like these strangely. In case anyone can help..... Cheers. Rob.
  3. Images of the interior upgrade to the Mark IV First Class coaches. First one in service on the 16:00 Heuston - Cork Thursday 29th Feb 2024. Death to the Citygold name and 'back' to good old fashioned First Class!
  4. I know it might seem inexplicable, but l love adding those 'No Smoking' signs on! They really look great !!
  5. Thanks- yes, me too. Never really a fan of the Composite in the past but they have very much grown on me over time!!
  6. Nice action there PS: Who does your weathering ?
  7. Over three decades since entering service, a Mark 2D set is shunted into Platform 1 at Heuston North by 146 for a Friday only service to Limerick. Good variety in a Mark 2D set incl. Standard, Composite, former First Class, Restaurant and EGV- who said 'modern' formations are dull (5211, 5157, 5102, 5227, 5224, 5210, 5401, 5602)
  8. Looks great! Love the shunting!

Looks very impressive- great looking layout
  10. Yes- well spotted! I think it definitely benefitted from the extra weathering on top of the factory bit!!
  11. Nice addition- will look out for it. What is the name on it?
  12. Not sure l've ever seen a Green 201 look like that in the flesh
  13. Agreed- that is my problem! Everything l see looks too 'English'. I can't locate anything that resembles lrish Apartment blocks, Houses or even modern Offices so any suggestions are very welcome.....
  14. Great shots- looking brilliant as usual.
  15. Nice shot of 229 in there- layout looks great
  16. They were still on the go over the last couple of years but rare enough- usually one or so on any one train. @MOGUL would no doubt know exact dates?
  17. Only saw this now- looks good really l think. Always a fan of the rare sightings of the Dong Fang!

    Shades of Orange

Some vastly different shades here in both Mark 2D and Mark 3 sets....
  19. Great progress- well done. Looks great

I used to not be a fan of the Mark 2D Composite but in later times grew to love it in a rake You're right- it adds variety- usually a different shade of orange and more 'battered' than the rest!!
  22. ....there's a similar container currently in Heuston North- not sure if it is THE one?? !
  23. Hi. Looking for any 'modern' (1990's / 2000's) OO Scale lrish style Apartment buildings / Houses? Doesn't matter if it is card kit, actual buildings or whatever but can't seem to locate any that look similar to what you would see around Dublin or any lrish city over the last 20 / 30 years? Any ideas? Cheers Rob
