I may have missed it but is this just a re run of the last tooling or a new new tooling with possibly details that may not have been originally possibly to model?
-
Can't wait for this release
-
I received an emailed invoice for payment today but I've already paid for the model as of a few weeks ago. I had only ordered one so if this is in error Is it safe to ignore without have to worry about my card being debited?

Nailed it once again, excellent work, I used to think I just liked my trains with that out of the box look, totally unrealistic when compared to this realistic work, love it cheers John.
If you ever want some of them weathered I'd be happy to help.

Incredible stuff altogether, the grey streaks on the black paint at the bonnet end are exactly the way they looked, when the paint started to fade. Some serious weathering skills there Chris, well done sir. Paul

I spent all of yesterday with friend Barry Carse going through severl thousand pictures with a view to organising our next book. many of these were taken in the 1970s and 80s - locomotives usually clean, but some absolutely filthy. By the 1990s, those facing retirement - first the "A"'s, then the 121 / 141 / 181s - were to be seen in an absolutely atrocious state of filth, and with badly faded paintwork and rust too. Plenty of prototypical scope for a "weatherer"!
Thank all very much. High praise indeed. While having no memory of this locomotive and having to relay on pictures taken by others it is great to hear such remarks from those that do.

I'm open to correction but I believe barracks Street would have been one of the very few places it happened up into the 90s

Lovely stuff. All you're missing is the pilot man hanging from the cab
It's a pity they weren't used like this more often. I've always preferred the look of the 121 running bonnet first.
Agreed, I like it better myself but can understand the reason behind why it wasn't

Lovely to see more Barrack Street progress, @Dempsey! A couple of interesting bits and bobs lying around...
Eagled eyed indeed. The coaches are ex scotrail mk2s I'm repainting for myself. Here is one I finished earlier.
And don't worry there is no oil under barracks Street so the hmmwvs won't be bringing any freedom.

Unfortunately the sound chip is indeed an 201. Thank too @ttc0169 for your help. I'll be making contact tomorrow to organise a correct chip.
On the other hand i finally got the lenght of the back scene up along the back to box in the layout.

Rrecorded start up of my 121 with the sound chip I recently bought. The opposite cab cab and bonnet lights to the direction of travel if someone has any idea about this I'd appreciate any info.

Sounds like a 201 sound chip in the 121?
What a a re-engined 121 would have sounded like.

Info from MM. End of year all going well, the baby GMs due in retail within weeks.
And might that be before or after the 201s????

Where did you get that definite timeline, @Noel? You posted something similar here, too.
The last update I remember seeing was here, from @DonderBlitzen, and there was nothing set in stone.
I'd love to see more on sale, brand new, for €200, inside the next ten and a half months, but don't want to get my hopes up without some kind of source.
Maybe @WRENNEIRE has posted the info and I've missed it?
@Dempsey will be delighted to hear that they are guaranteed so soon, if that is the case!
My ear were burning.
I'm sure I could find jobs for another 071 or two
