What's that got to do with you taking bizarre potshots at Warley?

Do me a favour and delete my account bullyboy, I won't be making the same mistake twice.

You ok hun? Good thing your not involved in running shows then

That's ok, I don't want to be your friend, but I was about the only person on here expressing concern about corona 18 months ago, which should tell you something.

I've just received an e-mail to say Warley in November has been cancelled.

That's ridiculous. The corona restrictions were too little, too late and are now too much, too long.

Vote with your feet Leslie, let Warley die, get your money back.

The above three are all Interlaken area which is German but the French in this niggled me.

Internet tells me it's a Vevey-Montreux-Chillon tram, runs along Lake Geneva

I would guess they travelled between the two areas on the Golden Pass line

That looks a lot like Niesen in the background, the first high ground you see going south on the Bern–Lötschberg–Simplon.

Maybe Emdthal between Spiez and Reichenbach

The background is pretty much uniformly high from there on into the Rhône valley, where the forest looks sparser, more Mediterranean.

Think of it as a terminus of two routes. Arriving trains can come from either route and leave by either route. It cannot be done with only two points.

It could, but because the conflict has changed orientation, from along a passing loop to across a switchback, two points would allow no simultaneous movement at all.

  7. An impressionist continental European micro layout (HO, 48 x 5 inches)

Single railcar arrives at the platform across the second set of points, passing wagons unloading along the loop.

Station and goods shed in a single range, weird looking hut, strange lamppost, puzzling signalling...

Based on Fintona, which had a surprisingly continental trackplan...

    It’s a mystery

As well as an entrance out of sight to the left, as indicated by the crossways setts, I think we can assume the tracks were further apart before converging to round a corner of some sort to the left

    (see 03:22 and 06:10)

The rod furthest from the running rails is connected to Lever 21, which controls the point giving access to the Short Up Siding with buffer stop (yet to be included).

My favourite sidings, seriously, must be something to do with me arriving on the ferry at 9am with no sleep.
