Excellent idea, IR had so many different GM locos and the A class back then really enjoyed Tony Cooke's presentation

Really enjoy IRRS zoom meetings would not make Heuston meetings living in Cork, great presentation of slides by Tony showing the variety of freight trains and Locos running in the 1990's

It's really great to see that Marks Models have these in stock. Would have been very easy for IRM to just stock online. Having Marks as a supplier is a great way of ensuring our local model shops stay above water. Have to be honest, I bought the MM Mk2's from them recently, just for that reason.
Sure is Marks have a good variety of stock including IRM stock and it is ideal to visit the shop to buy tracks trees etc I buy from IRM and also Marks to support the local model shop

Indeed, and on a regular basis impossible. When the DCDR is open, during the day some 16 volunteers are on duty at any one time. One more reason why railway heritage groups are always on the lookout for new volunteers, and why oft-seen comments that "it would be good if someone preserved.....(something)" are often unrealistic - if well-intentioned. There simply isn't the level of interest overall in this country to keep anything much more than we already have, in operations. Jackie would love to have a regular band of volunteers down in Moyasta, but the boots just aren't on the ground.
Needs a group of volunteers like in Ma'am cross

Sad to see, was there in 2019 and enjoyed a spin on the West Clare railway and viewed the layout in the station hard to keep running on your own
