Are they Code 3 type vinyls from eBay on the Scania or is it a custom paintjob? Looks lovely either way. -
Try dropping Chris @Dempsey a PM. Not many doing it nowadays as it's very labour intensive, not really worth the time and effort for very little return, if any.

Super stuff as usual @ttc0169! The new batch of Murphy Models Mk2D's look excellent! Am I seeing "No Smoking" signs in the windows?
-
Are you guys running these with Class 121 decoders or running them on DC layouts or what?

@BosKonay posted in the 201 thread that both the 071 re-run and the 201 re-run should be identical to previous batches. Happy days for you, Mr. 071! -

Have to try out the magnetic close couplers so! LOL, I wish it were!

Looks lovely, @Bob229! Are you running DC or DCC? -
Who doesn't love a quickie at sunset? Two 1:43 Starlet Turbos, little legends, and @Barryd88 should be receiving his any time now.

Had to have a closer look at IRM's first trainset, the ITG's A3R and the RPSI's Mk2 coaches! Up close and personal, these are just lovely lovely coaches. Again, lots of "No Smoking" signs so no work for @Rob! 547 rides a little higher than 181 and 300, maybe 1mm or 2mm. There's extra clearance between body and bogies compared to the other two. Is this prototypical? Sorry if the lighting is a bit off, hard to get a good balance with the sun in your face in this horrid heat.

New Murphy Models 201 Class Locos Likely in 2025
DJ Dangerous replied to DJ Dangerous's topic in News
Once he doesn't confuse people by announcing it on April 1st. Any of our resident livery-editing genii who can slap IRM's A42 and A46 liveries onto 201's so we can compare??? -

Lined green limited edition with flying snail logo? I'd buy one! Was it you who said that the pricing was going to be around €250 per loco, or am I confused? Does anybody here who has Paddy's ear know what the spec will be, regarding decoder access etc? Will existing 201 decoders work in the new batch? Would seem a bit mad if they didn't, as there'd be a lot of confusion further down the line. -
Also in the email from Rails of Sheffield, aside from the 071 / 111 Class info, was this, Murphy models 201's due 2025.

I know how to make it up to you! Book yourself some flights, bring about a thousand "No Smoking" signs and I'll allow you apply them to all of my coaching stock. -
A few daylight pictures of Eleanor before it gets dark - probably only fifteen minutes before sunset.

This bundle of joy was also delivered today, finally. These look exquisite, I desperately need somewhere to run some trains!

Looking closely at the West Coast Mk2's, and all I can say is WOW! Best thing is that our very own @Rob is out of a job - the windows already have "No Smoking" signs! There's even a booklet included on the couplings as there are so many different options!
