Bought mine from Kernow this week. Suits my 3rd rail south London effort. The two innermost wheelsets on one bogie are not in contact with the rails. Hopefully an easy fix. Jack

Hi yes well pleased. I think Hatton's pre-order price was about £50 cheaper than Hornby's, but as I say Hattons cancelled. The Irish VAT was £13 more than the British VAT so £497 was the total. I suppose about €600. Given that I was burned by the DJM fiasco it's just good to have it in the flesh. Must crack on with the new layout! Jack

Opted for the 7 car set. Had to deal direct with Hornby after Hattons cancelled my pre-order. Fair play they honoured the pre-order price(£484). They applied Irish VAT so no delay with delivery. Have just ran the NDM with no issues. Jack

Thanks George. Was a bit nervous after reading some peoples experience with it, but ran the NDM (from 7 car set) for an hour or so with no issues so I'm happy out. Jack

Received the APT direct from Hornby last Friday. They charged the Irish VAT and parcel came straight through. Jack

Thanks All. I'm actually in the process of dismantling it in order to build a new layout. Even in this clip (3 months ago) the road vehicles and some buildings are gone. It's proving to be quite a task! Jack
