Now that will need another rerun.
This became a familiar site all over the country, your county colours made up from fertiliser sacks and coal sacks. These ones were put up in Walsh Island, Offaly in 1998 for the now controversial hurling all ireland final between Clare and Offaly...and still there today. The yellow was cut sward, white was usually high nitrogen and green was super yield.

I think it has to be the footbridge

Nowadays most of the work is done by big contractors, Silage cutting, harvesting and spreading fertiliser etc.

I remember seeing ferts being loaded in the fertiliser depot in Portlaoise(now telfords) on the old Abbeyleix line and Avonmore animal feeds on the other side in the late 80s, early 90s.

Someone already said it, but I wholeheartedly agree a light weathering like this is a serious upgrade, they photograph much better, the whole toy model look has gone, and photographed with the clunky connectors out of sight these will totally look the part, excel, ent upgrade.
I do not upgrade to kadees on all my stock either, yes it looks better but it gets so tedious.I just use the better upgrades for close ups.Well worth popping a dirty load in that bucket, sone. Al last and PVA glu can dry out making the load look like wet ballast, excellent upgrade.
Great job, really brings it to life. Go well with your ballast wagons
