  1. Detail Pack included below the plastic insert into the box. Includes spare handrails. Also remember these models are coming with horn and vac hose fitted compared to the original ones
  2. Just purchased one. Nice little variation on the previous releases
  3. Correct The plan is a 6am departure from both ends so arrival should be well before 9am
  4. Current plan is 8 trains, each comprising of 8 coaches will be ordered. it might not be what is got but that’s the plan. See this link for the general outline of plan. https://bidstats.uk/tenders/2023/W39/807469160
  5. I would would imagine €230 to €250 mark going on present pricing for these small limited runs. It shows you why IRM have to cut out the middle man to make it work.
  6. 2029 or 2030 at the latest. Nothing new is ordered yet. From the order date it’s three years minimum before a new train arrives here. Plus commissioning, trials, driver training and engineering training. I would say if you ordered now mid 2028 would be good going.

  8. Currently for sale on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145710576770?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=k083e4gyS6W&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=k083e4gyS6W&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  9. There is a lot of effort by many to improve things since late November.
  10. I think you should see a significant improvement in the first three months of 2024.
  11. The photo above is just a reminder of how good these models were on release over 15 years ago and they still look stunning. Well done Mr Murphy for producing more.
  12. If it was your stolen property would you feel the same! Just imagine having something stolen, then it appears on eBay and saying, that’s fine! NOT!
  13. In theory it should, and according to the timetable definitely, but then again would I bet my life on it,, No!
  14. PS. I know, I’ve been on the line all day!
  15. 228 on Easter Monday with set 9002. Some interior views as well
  16. Some NIR coaches available on the Irish Railway Models website. Locomotives are currently like hen’s teeth and will only improve once someone produces more or new models.
  17. I need to stop this addiction now!
  18. Still my favourite Irish model.
  19. Just announce the Hunslet at Bangor to go with the enterprise coaching stock, along with the 80 class and then the MV’s and then the final announcement of all NIR Modellers declaration of bankruptcy!
  20. Slightly harsh. The Enterprise service has been remarkably reliable this year so far. More issues with signal failures, trespassing etc than the actual train itself. A point often overlooked is the coaching stock is now 27 years old and locomotives 29 years old. At this stage the much glorified Irish Rail Mk3s were being recycled to bean tins and the 071’s gone from front line passenger duties. Northern Ireland Railways 80 Class were on their knees by this stage. Meanwhile the 201’s and the DD’s keep pounding away with up over 700 miles a day required for one turn. Things could be a lot worse.
  21. As far as I am aware it will be July/August.
