  1. Beautiful work they look great. Looking forward to getting my Hattons 6 wheelers, they will go well with my 00 Works J15.
  2. Is the Studio Scale Models website still running? I have tried but just get error code.
  3. The M1 was built over this tunnel beside Blacks Road. I grew up in the street in the background and spent a lot of time around the pine trees area where we had a long rope swing tied to a tree and I have been in this tunnel sometimes.
  4. Well maybe not a truck load, but lots.
  5. DANA Tanktainer. MSC mustered 40 ft. BLS 20 ft as above. And 45ft containers. That should keep you busy for a while.
  6. Thanks guys, I put this post in the wrong place, so I will post it again in my workbench thread. There might be a slight sag in the middle caused by me gluing a new floor on and didn't notice the bend until it was to late.
  7. This is a NIR Flat bogie wagon to transport rail with two small cranes to lift the rails on & off the wagon. made from an old Hornby car transporter wagon I have had for many years. A new floor and sanctions added and the 2 cranes are hand made. Plus a little CIE 4 wheel flat wagon (Hot topic) made from bits of wagon kits.
  8. Very nice and neat, no messy soldering.
  9. Great pictures especially the first one. And a nice looking layout, love the ballast.
  10. Very nice, just the right amount. You might get a wash plant for Christmas.
  11. Good info there GHB, I would like to see a picture of one of those 5 wheelers. Never heard of that before.
  12. They look great even without paint.
  13. Fred Dean RIP. I watched the funeral today on YouTube, very sad and gone too soon. His photographs will always be around for us to look at and that is one of his legacies. god bless him and his family.
  14. There was some track laying at Lisburn this weekend. Putting in a new track layout for platform 3. And new points. Nice to catch the road rail excavator as I have just bought a similar one that will get a bit of weathering done to it.
  15. I think you will have to move back to sunny Ireland
  16. You might need a Permanent Way teem to keep on top of it.
  17. The weather is having a bad effect on all the wood and needs a lot of maintenance. Would some kind of plastic/PVC used on houses be better than wood?
  18. A little bit of PVA would hold it and would come off again without doing any damage.
  19. This seems to be the case, after a long illness. Sorry to hear this, RIP John.
