A Class Renumbering.

I liked the A12 so much I purchased two. My problem is how to renumber the 2nd loco. I looked on Railtech site and didn’t find anything suitable, has anyone renumbered A12/A15 or A55 ? As you need two different size transfers for loco front and sides.

I would appreciate any advice, (1) how to remove letter/numbers and (2) where to source replacement letter/numbers.

I looked and it seems the A Class transfers are in black, which is fine for front end panels but the side numbers need to be in white. Thanks

I'm in the same boat, with five black'n'tan 141/181s. Of these, one can remain B141, another is B165, another B188 - as delivered - but I need two more B141s renumbered.

There does not seem to be any exact type of lettering for the 1960s black'n'tan livery, unless I'm mistaken. The small ones on the ends and larger ones on the sides.

I recently changed IR007 to CIE007 while I did not renumber the loco I removed the letter. S and the IR logo both front and sides using a cotton bud and some T-cut scratch remover / paint restorer , do this slowly and gingerly perhaps starting on one of the side numbers .

Thanks WE, couldn’t see any Irish transfer sheets on website, will give them a call.

Des Sullivan Studio  Scale Models has come up trumps! €10 incl P&P.  A12 will become A60.

A12 renumbered to A60, transfers slightly oversize especially the side ones. T-Cut did the job on removing original numbers(thanks Flange Lubricator for that tip) and a light spray of clear varnish to finish.

If anyone wants the spare A60 transfers, there is enough to do 1 loco ie end panels and side panels and then still 2 end panels as well. £5 incl P&P. PayPal UK only. Thanks
