Just finished work on two MIR beer wagons which are running well now.The chassis on one was a bit out of alignment, which I suppose is to be expected on a white metal kit.

Just the Provincial  Wagons Brake van.

I stuck on two rear lamps on one IRM Tara.I think they look nice.

White painted roofs act as an effective solar reflector to reduce the internal temperature from daytime mean of 50c to 38c.

See section 1 of http://www.tis-gdv.de/tis_e/containe/klima/klima.htm

Lovely shot of the Bell containers posted by RedRich here with maroon, blue and whiter roofs, the last being in the minority in the 80s, albeit they may be in commoner use on more modern containers

Just started another an post model with a Iveco/Ford Oxford Die cast getting a scratch built tail lift, and still a good bit of painting to be done.

Made a start on SF 001 class body which is getting it's SSM brass detail.

Finally MM 203 was aquired last week and she is a nice machine -but god is it hard to get that front skirt in place on the detailed end.
