Sorry to go off topic but were the Mk3 1st class coaching stock built in the 80's or had they received an overhaul prior to this video or were they built after the standards? The LED passenger information display, reclining seats, adjustable tables and the numerous amount of lights in first class makes me think it was nearly ahead of its time then. The 26's have no LED passenger information display even today! Yet the 1st class had these LED screens installed back then, and even functioning too!

Irish Rail 071 no.071 passes milepost 14 1/2 hauling the sperry train to North Wall.

Track Recording Vehicle EM50 passes Church Road signal cabin 9/04/15. I only seen this by chance as I was getting the 15:50 Docklands-M3 Parkway home!

Ah ha! Haven't a clue... however, their French cousins (CC 7200) are an extremely endangered species now - only two left in traffic to haul dead TGV sets between depots.

 

Edit: Looks like they may still be in service

As far as I know there is still one operating from Cacia to Aveiro Port as the line is not electrified.

Irish Rail 229 hauled 11 Mk3's from Inchicore to North Wall today for overhaul in Scotland to be used for Belmond Great Hibernian. They past at 09:02 at Drumcondra today:

RPSI Santa Special cravens were hauled by 8209 on the 13th of December to and from Maynooth. Here is a shot of it departing Maynooth at 17:26 :

RPSI Cravens+ Irish Rail 079 depart platform 2 in Dublin Pearse prior to working the Santa Special's departs while 29009 in new livery+29011 arrive from Maynooth at 16:29.

Moments later RPSI steam locomomotive no.461 passes heading the same direction.

Nice couple of shots there gm171! Lots of PWD action there! Shame about the mk4's though. From what I was told Weekdays is the worst days to see them running, although I could be wrong.

Chelsea have a decent chance along with Arsenal. Manchester United again will have to work hard to get top 4 I think. For me its QPR all the way
