  1. Hi Guys Sorry for not providing any updates. Been having a few problems at the min which is getting sorted out now and I hope to be back at the modelling ASAP....... Colin. oh and the pics will be added too :-bd

  2. Hi Popeye best glue for the job is industrial super glue.... LOCTITE 401 20Gram Bottle..... its almost instant grab and within an hour of it hardening you can move on and finish the model quickly.... its easy to do the cutting use a mitre saw from B&Q with a replacement blade 32 T.P.I. which gives a better cut...... Colin.

  3. Hi Kieran yes I was very busy and still am as the weather has been good to me so I took advantage and got a lot of work done heres tonights update on Class 80 Builds.

  4. No Liverbird81 you don't need donor coaches for them, just build them up from scratch.... There will be more pics of the 80,s soon im just doing all the joints filling them in which takes a bit of time plus fitting the floors for the motorised bogies etc then get ready for headlights and grills then primer etc.

  5. Hi Liverbird81 I have the worsley works 450 class kit, but its only part built and stored at the min because of other projects started and with assisting members with soldering etc etc... But I can advise its not a bad kit to do just layout all the bits and when you start it don't do what I done and stop half way through, just go for it and finish the soldering and I think you will like the finished model...

  6. Hey Tony is that 201 you bought on ebay a lima? if so take the body off and check the wire on the trailing bogie as these tend to break off and loco stops working..... Colin. p.s. ive had a couple like that.....

  7. Your welcome Dhu Varren I will be looking forward to the finished 80,s too... Hey Liverbird81 I know of one happy camper that will be happy and that's Tonybonneyba he,s waiting to see no.90 in Translink Livery....... Colin.

  8. Watch this space Dhu Varren as I have said to Andy Im doing the paint work so when its done then you can see the black line along mine, I think the main reason a lot of guys don't put the black line in is because on the bumble bee livery it interferes with the intercity transfer......
