  1. I have bought everything ye have produced so fa r and will continue to support what can only be called a revolution in Irish modelling, paddy Murphy started it, but you lads are taking it to a whole new level. I want the IR and the IE already ordered, and now I want the CIE ploughs also. I sincerely hope that you get enough support to push ahead with the CIE, as it’s a great deal for us and a massive thanks from you to those who have supported you, in going ahead with a project that will yield little or no profit, just so all era’s can be catered for. Thanks lads!!!

    and that’s a yes from me🤯

    • Thanks 1
  2. Sounds like the regular clientel in Sack's Nightclub (or Barry's if you were slumming it).

Ah the old Fiat 127, much cooler looking than the 128.

Congrats on the Joeuf Wrenner, though if Santa gave me that back in the day, I'd have taken a contract out on him. :)

I'm still waiting for santa to bring me mine!:(( hear that Dave! there is always this year!:-bd

  3. I feel your pain lads, 6 hour, 250 mile round trip. But worth it, 2nd time there. Good location, easy parking, great displays, and trade stands. Some serious amount of experience and expertise in the hall. And all willing to answer even the stupidest questions. Can see the sale of blue LEDs going up, after the show. Would love a more frequently show in the Clare, Limerick, Galway area, but doubt the numbers would make it worthwhile😩

Thanks to all involved, great show, great day out.

  4. Cheers billyboy, always handy to know, alot of diy in my future before layout gets a look in.

hobby shop in Lwr Gerald Griffin st in Limerick, The Gathering i think, had very little railway stuff, last the i was in but all the trees, walls, grass of both types you would need for layout, think its gone very wargamey! or warhammer.

there used to be a cracking hobby shop on the corner of Lwr Gerald Griffin st and sexton st, many moons ago, anyone remember it?

  5. Jesus lads, hard to believe, most don't have full insurance on their collections, (my dumb ass included)

It came to mind the other night, neighbor had a Christmas lights type fire, he collects books/artie stuff, not covered by house insurance to anywhere near there full value, really bad smoke damage and with all the flooding.

anyone on here in the insurance game? group buy!

  6. Thanks lads,

in the process of cataloging the collection, I'm no Fry or Wrenneire, but I have couple.

Would love a large layout, but not to be for now.

    anyone have their collection insured?

  7. Hello everybody

I have been looking at this site for for nearly over a year now, on and off, and its time i introduce myself, long overdue, I'm Martin from Clare. long time collector of Irish models, and trains=)) no layout, just collecting till i finally get one. i'm in awe of the work some of you are producing, model making, resprays, weathering, layout building. hope to make all of your acquaintance in time, till then keep up the good work all. =D
