    Due to a failure of the 09.25 Cork to Heuston on the 3rd of February 2018, passengers for the GAA match at Croke Park were provided with special service from Hazelhatch to Drumcondra. The service was operated by an eight car 2900 Class (29005 + 29023). Passengers disembarked the 10.25 Cork to Heuston at Hazelhatch to transfer onto the special service. It is filmed operating on the up slow line on the Kildare Route Project, accelerating as it travels under the road bridge at Stacumny.

    * Updated - likely a hoax by 2 Irish Rail drivers! Still Mk4s are will continue to become a rare sight. According to a Irish Rail driver on facebook set 5 & 6 of the MK4 will be soon scrapped.   7. Hansfield station has finally opened three years after its construction. 29000 DMU 29028 was the first train to call at the station with the 6:59 service from M3 Parkway to Docklands. 29009 is also seen passing on an out of service movement to M3 Parkway.
