Hi All, I have a job lot of mostly steel OO Gauge track for sale. There are 2 Left Hand Points, 2 "Y" Points, 39 curves, 28 straights, 3 Atlas Rerailers(In Nickel Silver Track), and 1 Double level crossing platform(no gates/barries). Approximately 45-50 feet of track. Made by Hornby and Lima. (Apart from the rerailers) Price is 15 euros o.n.o. Thanks for looking

Hi all, I have have 5 British Railways Diesel locos for sale. None are boxed but all run. All have all their buffers and couplings. Each loco is 20 euros, 2 for 38euros, 3 for 51euros, 4 for 64euros or all 5 for 80 euros. The first loco is a hornby Class 47. It has been repainted, not too well, in the 2-tone green livery, and renumbered to D1849. There are 2 Hornby Triang Hymek locos. Again, both repainted in green livery, running number on 1 is D7053, the other is D7048. Finally, there are the 2 Triang Locos. These ae both numbered D5572. One has a grey roof, the other has a blue roof. Neither of these have been repainted, not even the roof. Please let me know if i can supply any other details. I am trying to put the pictures up on the end of this. Thanks

Thanks to all who responded, all 3 items are now sold. I still have some of the new track for sale as per my other thread here. I am also getting pictures together of 5 British railways repainted diesels. They will be under 20 euros each and I will advertise them on this forum WITH pictures when I get back to my home computer and work out how to do it. Thanks again to all for the interest shown.

That seems to be using an exchange rate from xe.com or the value of sterling on the business part of the news etc. Banks won't give you that price, they charge a commission and the rate itself is different also, usually about 2-3% off plus their commission. I just quoted anpost.ie because that's the only place I could think of where I saw the price I would actually get into my hand. Banks should be similar though. My point was anyhow that between postage, exchange rates, bank commissions, there isn't a whole difference between £125 in hattons and €175 in the Irish retailers. Again though, as stated by almost everyone, it's a bit of a guessing game for the moment about the euro retail price

Postage seems to about GBP£5 per loco going on the rate for the 201's. Total of GBP£130, which according to anpost.ie rates is €170.40. Think I will stick with Irish shops. Not too bad if the euro price is above €175, but fully worth supporting Irish shops if the difference is only €4.60.
