Hi Warbonnet, Glad to be of service, we took this range of wagon kits in from a US distributor together with some Kadee cpouplers and some other products. The market for American is relativly small here and that is the reason we do not stock in any great depth. He will also be bringing with him the pre-production Cl071 locos in the liverys due in the new year. Plastic Kitbuilding demonstration with lots of tips and tricks of the trade from 12 till 4 on Saturday. On sunday we will have a weathering workshop from 1pm once again with tips and some hands on for those who want to give it a go. We will have a Scalextric Fastest lap competition running until 5pm on both days with the fastest lap winning a Scalextric Set, or a couple of cars if you already own a set. Marks Models are Celebrating their 25th Anniversary and they will be holding and open weekend in their Greenogue branch on the 3rd and 4th of November. There will be special offers, Demos on Sounds locos and digital railways, Scalextric fastest lap competition, Plastic kit building Demos and tips, RC Demos and free giveaways along with complimentary light snacks. It is on from 10am to 6m Saturday and from 12am to 5pm on the Sunday. Follow the signs from Juction 4 on the N7 at the Rathcoole exit. Check the Marks Models website closer to the event for timing of the Demos as they do not run for the full duration of the event.

We are currently looking into the possibility of producing further batches of our Dapol Flying Snail range of wagons (Open Wagon, Box Van and Cattle Wagon ) finished in grey. We would change the running no's on this batch. Please give us some feed back and we will see if it is worthwhile commissioning another run.

Hi All, We are new around here, although Marks Models has been around since 1987. In fact we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary next October. From time to time I will post info here that may be relevant to some of you. We have recently received some new publications from Colourpoint, namely Irish Railways Part 4 and Rails Through The West, for full listing see link below.
