Great video. Love the layout. There really is something special about Irish railways and you've captured it with your layout.
Thanks a million:)
-
lovely stuff - love the scene with the train spotter!!!
Thanks, I though it was a good thing to add:)

Hi all, no photos this time but a video of the progress on Kilmeg since my last update.
Enjoy,
Seán.

A stop off at Carn while on the way home for the 1730 Portlaoise - Heuston, 1700 Heuston - Cork and 1705 Heuston - Tralee.
The Wanderer.
Excellent photos, Carn looks like a great place to go.

Welcome to the site, it's a great way to help you get back into modelling:)
-
Very nice looking, will more types of wagon be produced?
-
Does O'Meath not also count?
-
Perhaps. Do you have any idea what the HOBS are doing in Wexford?
-
What is the only station in Ireland with an O' in its name?
O'Meath? Or am I misunderstanding the question:)
-
Excellent photos, is it just me or does everthing look very clean? Nice to see the new logo on one of the wagons.
-
Thanks, I think the livery is pretty good, but I wish IÉ had applied the coloured logo instead of a plain white one. Full yellow ends would have been nice too.

Sorry for taking ages to reply! Yes these times apply for every weekday but on Friday some of the trains, especially the 12:20, can be cancelled. The early morning Taras leave Navan at 09;20 and follow the same path as the 12:20. The evening service leaves Navan at 18:20 and it too follows the same path. Please ask if you need any more information:)

The lads in the yard generally leave the points closed in situations like this, I've seen it myself in Drogheda, it saves them hassle and there's no chance of derailment:)
-
Wow, now that is going to be a layout!
-
Im using Anyrail which is very good & free up to 5O track pieces;)
This is the plan with curved points think it may be better

Stunning, looks beautiful

Excellent plans! How did you draw these?
-
I'm very sorry to hear about this.

Thank you for this information and you're probably right about the Broadstone. It's a pity it's no longer connected.
-
Does anyone know if there are test trains runnning through the tunnel? I filmed two ICRS at Glasnevin Junction today on the Islandbridge Junction line.
I think IÉ should reopen the Broadstone line and have LUAS connection from Broadstone to the City centre as opposed to the BXD line.
That would help release pressure on Connolly and allow for more trains from Heuston. However, I don't think Connolly can cope with trains from the Airport AND Heuston, IÉ will only be able to go with one of the projects.

One leaves Navan at 12:20 and passes Beauparc on the Navan line at 12:47. After it reaches Drogheda it wait until 13:40 before it departs to North Wall. This one passes Rush & Lusk at around 13:50. That may seem fast but if you look at this video you will see how it is possible:

No one would laugh at this layout, it is fantastic:)

Magnificant detail! An-mhaith!

Thanks.
