Thank you, I have looked at the photos from 1958 from the national library of ireland,

I love this picture and it shows the 4th line and recently when i went diving into the depts of the website i managed to find one showing the shed at the entrance of the station

but with the low angle of the entry i am still guessing a bit on the points and wether is was a single or double track coming in.
I must take a longer deep dive into flicker there might be photos there i missed.

Ok i haven't got into the engines yet, so this is helpfull, as the only clue to stock i saw was the engine 74, i fell down a rabbit hole the last 24hours with everything everyoine sent but the rail stock seemed intersting.
I did find that at one point there were battery trains on the line. and there was a photo of the bus converted i believe stock do you know anything about these. i think they may have been converted back to diesel by the time they were used in cashel.
