Don't think too much needs to be removed according to these photos of Dromore but they aren't the best quality, it's hard finding any decent photos of the station. There seems to be like a low wall or something at the base of the steps to the cabin, can't quite make out what it is.

A big thank you to Patrick for supplying me with a set of Engineers drawings for the GNRi signal cabins. After a few hours work the main walls are done. Still lots of details to go.

I read that parking at the venue is limited, is there any disabled parking close by ? Thanks.

On my plate there is small scratches all over it and I haven't had a print let go in a long time, also I use about 5-10% of Siraya Tech in my standard Anycubic resin, it just let's it flex a bit without snapping so easily. Hope this is of help. Noel. BTW, I take it you are orientating your parts at 45°, just checking.

Identifying carriages, help needed.
Moogie-69 replied to Moogie-69's topic in Photos & Videos of the Prototype
After a bit of rough measuring, if the second carriage is a K3 at 48ft that would make the following, First carriage - approximately 56ft. Third carriage - approximately 60ft. Forth carriage - approximately 55ft. So, could the first carriage be a K6 ? The forth carriage, Banbridge had a K19 which held 60 passengers and had a small luggage and brake compartment but it was only 43ft 6in whereas the one in the photo is measuring about 55ft. More research required but I'm not sure where to look next. -

I have looked through all my books and I think the second carriage back from the engine is a class K3, could the last carriage be a brake third or something like a third/ goods carriage ? In EM Pattersons book it explains what the classes, K, L, J, ect, means but it doesn't say what the number behind the letter represents. Is there any Web sites or books that explains it better, listing all the classes with dimensions, or is there any carriage drawings available anywhere ? I wouldn't have thought that they would have had a 1st class carriage on a branch line so could the other two carriages be 2nd or 3rds ? Thanks, Noel. -
My brother-in-laws great grandfather, Bob Elliott was a signal man at Dromore and now my sister owns the children's nursery in the station. My other connection to the railways is my great grandfather was a fireman on the BCDR and then a driver on the Canadian National Railway.

A few recent photos of Dromore station. Ticket hatch still in use, about the only surviving part inside the building. not much left of the platform, really just the front edge. Front door step is well worn after 160+ years of use. Metal bracket for outside light ? A bit of sofit detail. A view along the top of the viaduct. Not a very good photo, but if you look closely the window sill it has scallops cut in to the edge. This is where the porter sharpened his knife. If anyone wants i can get a bitter photo.

That's the idea, but i have to floor a roof space first. It's going to take a bit of room to fit a viaduct.

Have Johnstons book ordered, just waiting on the post. I'll have a look for the other books, thanks. -
Would anyone be any good at identifying GNRi carriages ? All images are of the same train. Any help would be appreciated.
