Have to agree with Anthony,It was good to meet other people from the site,as for the show, theres not a lot to write home about.
Some nice layouts but a very poor attendance.
-
The layout is split into two levels.
I have two Lenz units one for each level.
DCC of course.
Wiggy.
Cheers Wiggy.
-
Wiggy are you using DC or DCC to control the locos?

Blondie, now there was a class act.Manys a fantasy I had watching her preform on stage.
PS.I allso liked Punk rock ie: the Sex Pistols.
-
Was just wondering if anybody else on the site was at the under 14 Féile na nGael camogie tournament in Dublin last weekend?
-
And they get it from me. If there isn't much difference I'll buy local, and I do source all my Irish stuff locally, but I can understand in these tough times people going for better value from abroad.
I agree with you Warbonnet,I'll buy local if the price is near enough the same but if I can save £20 or so by shopping round then I will. The money I save then can go towards other railway items.
-
Just what I like, continous running and plenty of scenery:-bd
-
Nice layout Anthony,looking good.
-
Watched it every Saturday evening in Black & White
Legend
Didn't know they had TVs back then:D

Autoballasters now instock in Belfast
Ordered a set.
-
Very simple Northman, they arrived into Dublin on Friday and shipped straight away to us, they will arrive with us Monday along with paper work which means we can confirm price. The estimate has always been approx £99 (see recent Bachmann publications too) if it is lower then great, everyone who has pre ordered them is fully aware the price is a guide and will be finalised when they arrive on Monday.
Thanks Retro Herbie for answering my question,I like to try and support my local model shops but sometimes prices prevent me from doing so,no offence was meant by my question, thats all it was a simple question.
-
Taking in to consideration the exchange rate between the Euro and GBP,why are the autoballasters dearer by approx. £10 in the Belfast Model Shop than they are in Grahams or Marks Models?

Anthony I think the preserved steam locos are kept clean and pristine and that model you have got is the most recent one No R3014 DCC ready.
