I posted this also on the 'Photos of Models', but it might also be of interest here:

 

the June issue of the magazine Model Railroader has an article on modelling the sounds of passenger diesels. This includes details of how to model HEP sounds. While the article relates to Amtrak diesels, it might be of use for the HEP on the 201s.
