I do like the look of the scenery in that short video. Something I ought to try and copy. (Not with the young trees growing up thro the track, mind.)

With the imminent completion of the double tracking of the the line to Midleton, we’ll have to see how the case for re-opening of the line onwards to Youghal deals with the greenway currently occupying the alignment. The greenway should have been built to allow reinstatement of the line on half of the double track alignment but I doubt it.

I was under the impression that the whole point of the Greenway concept was that the two would be compatible side by side, if it ever came to pass. Whether the practice is anything like the theory, who knows! There's bound to be a saga!
