iarnrod Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Couple of questions re modifying Murphy Models locos. 1. Has anyone tried removing factory applied weathering? If so, what method did you use? Was it successful? 2. Has anyone tried removing dayglo panels? If so, what method did you use? 3. Is the tablet catcher or blanking plate glued onto the cab sides or does it slot in?
0 rebelred Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I used White Spirit & cotton buds, works a charm. I then got the locos weathered properly. Nail polish remover is too strong but very handy for removing numbers/original decals
