Hello,
a friend of mine is a gifted 3D designer of technical components, and he’s a railway enthusiast specialising in O gauge. He loves creating exotic series of diesel locomotives in 7mm.
Johannis currently lives in Finland, but speaks fluent English. One of his most recent designs was the German MAK 800 D, a four-axle diesel-hydraulic shunting locomotive. He has produced various national variants in O gauge, so it was only natural to create the CIE K801 in 1:43,5 as well.
It is a non-motorised but rollable model produced in 3D using a filament printer.
As a special feature, he has included a driver’s cab interior and a posable cover with a replica of the diesel engine.
He does the colouring himself using the simplest of methods; there’s still plenty of scope to improve on it.
The model is 237 mm long over buffer. Gauge is 32 mm.
He posts about his activities in the English-language section of the German Spur Null Forum. You can also contact him there if you have any further questions. Johannis uses the name ‘Globalzero’ there.

However, he will be away for the next two weeks and cannot be contacted until the end of July.
Thank you for your attention. Best greetings,
Torsten from Germany
