  5. Good Afternoon, Just a quick update, in recent weeks the drawings have being signed off by Dublin Bus & order has being confirmed with Corgi. More information to follow in the next few weeks. Thank you Brian Collins Enterprises
  6. GSI335, I like the models. I admire anyone brave enough to put together kit models or even repainting a Diecast model into a different livery, it's one way of having models you want in your collection if a Diecast option is not available in the livery you want. I would hate to think what the tooling costs for Diecast versions?
  7. Thanks for posting the Aer Lingus transit van images Grange Castle.
  8. Thank you ttc0169. I have admired your layout in the layout section of this forum, the new additions in rolling stock, bus models, kits you have built. Thank you to all the members of the forum that have expressed an interest in the model when produced both on this thread and that have also sent me a private message also to pre-order. More information will follow hopefully before the next Collectables Toy Fair at the Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley Sunday 14th April 2013. Thank you Brian Collins Enterprises
  9. Thanks very much Grange Castle. I've put a lot of work into this project so far. I am currently reviewing the drawings.
  10. Thank you BosKonay, A couple of the users of the forum have replied to this thread expressed interest in ordering the model. I take it that you are also interested in the model when released. Thank you, Brian Collins Enterprises
  11. Good Evening, Attached is a sample of the drawings. Enjoy Thank you, Brian Collins Enterprises
  12. Thanks Grange Castle, I have a list of models I would like to see also. A impressive collection of bus models Grange Castle.
  13. Thank you GSI345 for the posting. The model of VG33 is my focus for the moment, you just never know what could be in the pipeline in the future...... The mention of the Imps & P Class Cityswift beings back memories of traveling on the in the mid 90's.
  14. Tarabuses, it would be nice if I could do as suggested, but Corgi have an minimum order quantity on each model produced, but in the case of buses will allow you to split production 50/50 or 60/40 the only difference being the destination, nothing else. Thank you for all the messages posted. At the weekend I hope to be at Harristown to compare the current drawings I have from Corgi and to also get detailed pictures of the areas that are required to complete the drawings. Hopefully I can get the drawings completed and sign them off within the next few weeks. Looking forward to pre production samples after that. Thank you Brian Collins Enterprises
  15. Thank you Anthony, with the investment required for this project, I have decided to keep them exclusive to Brian Collins Enterprises, but nearer the release I will review this decision.
  16. I can see that individuals are keen to find out more details. The model will be manufactured for Brian Collins Enterprises by Corgi using an existing casting. It will be based on Dublin Bus vehicle fleet number VG33. The routes chosen are authentic to this vehicle: Route 4 Harristown Route 83 Kimage Please note: place names will also be shown in Irish on the model. Production will be split 60/40. Please note this project is still at early stages, release date, price etc will be confirmed at a later point. I would hope to have pre production sample on view at the next Collectables Toy Fair on Sunday 14th April 2013 @ The Clarion Hotel, Liffey Valley, Dublin 22. Thank you for all the interest. Brian Collins Enterprises
  17. GSI345, now that would be a model that I would like to do if the casting was available in OO scale, especially have the 39 route displayed, being the bus route of where I grew up. All I will say at the moment is, you are right about the livery GSI345. More will follow ...... Thank you Brian Collins Enterprises
  18. Thank you all for your comments. It is using a existing casting. I'm sure Tarabuses this would not look out of place within you vast collection of buses. Brian Collins Enterprises
  19. Thank you BosKonay. It's a big step but I have to try it to develop my business. Thanks for your post also Anthony, it will be a Diecast RTR, a double decker & the production run will be split 60:40 between two destinations. More information will follow. I will possible put a line drawing on my website http://www.briancollinsenterprises.ie in the next few weeks once I have the drawings signed off. Thank you Brian Collins Enterprises
  20. Good Evening, Brian Collins, T/A Brian Collins Enterprises is pleased to announced that he has secure permission for the livery owner, to commission an exclusive Irish Bus model. The vehicle has being photographed & I am currently dotting the I's & crossing the T's with the manufacturer. The first draft drawing have being completed & amendments are to be made prior to being signed off to proceed to pre-production samples. More information will follow shortly. Thank you, Brian Collins Enterprises
  21. Anthony, Hattons may have them listed on their website, but with no images currently. Grange Castle I was also disappointed with the Aer Lingus transit model, it's too plain. I would have expected corporate colour with logos? Thanks for posting the image of the bus also
  22. Looking at the picture, the quality & detailing is excellent! I can't wait. Lets hope they bring this out in the expressway livery at some point also. I know the Diecast wholesale I deal with has not got this listed yet for me to pre-order. Thanks for the picture
  23. Grange Castle, I am sure you will be delighted with the following: http://www.mremag.com/news/bulletin.asp About half way down this page there is a section New from Oxford Diecast Thanks to Danny a member on the Garaiste forum that posted the link.
