The red stripe was that thin that you had be close to see it and after being in service for a while it would only be noticeable in parts.

Discovered late last night my parcel did arrive but 'someone' forgot to mention it.

Today its on running-in trials on DC.

I understand the model is fitted with a coreless motor so a high end decoder will be required to run it on DCC. I have my decoder but still waiting on the model to arrive.

 

 

Half an hour, K? Not painted, off course - another ten minutes?

Once you have it prepared, 30 mins sounds reasonable Leslie.

As Newtoncork said, Rennicks is the only model shop in the town. It used to carry Murphy Model stock but lately the railway stock has been reduced concentrating now on RC Cars.

I have been building these since October 2016, relieved to see them finished. Still to build coaches to go with them, including a Diner and Brake. The K15 coach is borrowed from my AEC Set.

I was at the RPSI last night at a talk about the acquiring and development of Whitehead. There was a picture of you with others with a Mobile Shop at Whitehead and also one of your Father being interviewed for a TV documentary. Can you recall what the programme was called and which TV channel showed it?

35 years of NIR is the must have of that list, full of information and pictures.
