Yet another Adventurous & Brave undertaking which certainly tested by Patience. Amalgamating Resin & Diecast would usually be a "NoNo"! Using a TD5 Resin Body & Chopping the cab area from an EFE Leyland Tiger resulted in a CIE TS11 Decker. Four TS11 Deckers were taken over from the DUTC in 1945 & were instantly recognised by the raked windscreen & lengthened first window bay, all four operating from Conyngham Rd Garage. Modelled here is R244 (ZD 927) on Route 25 - O'Connell Bridge - Lucan, withdrawn & Scrapped By November 1959

George Heaney recently released his Kit Of Leyland TD5/TD7 Highbridge. I have Hand painted mine as a CIE AR Class & DR Class. AR Class - CIE Bought one AEC Regent Entering Service May 1946 DR Class - CIE Bought Six Daimler Engined CWD6’s entering Service also in May 1946 Both Operated from Conyngham Rd Garage.

CIE RA73 (OYI 838) New in December 1959 to Summerhill Garage. Handpainted here in CIE livery complete with Period Adverts & a Conductor Changing the Scrolls for added detail. Modelled on Route 16 - Santry.

The Controversial One. RA138 (HZA 263) modelled here in CIE Tan Livery. The Controversy lasted only 4 Days in June 1978 & then Quickly repainted Standard CIE Cream & Navy. Modelled on Route 24 Marino

New to CIE Cork in July 1971 was M72. Later Transfering to Tralee in August ‘82. In an attempt by management in Tralee to spruce up the fleet, a Tours Livery Resulted. Modelled here when it was later Re-Engined to DAF becoming MD72 (72 IK) M27, M91 & M200 where other examples to receive this Livery.

Entering Service in 1981 with CIE was the KE Class Bombardier Coaches. KE22 - 51 were Built as Coaches with various Seating Capacities & appeared in Brown & Cream Livery as Modelled here. They were not fitted with Destination Boxes, The Legend “CIE Tours International” being painted on the Headboard Panels
