Almost all SSM Locos, coaches and freight are suitable for 21mm.

Thanks for the interest lads, this is a definite runner so. Detailing will be a mixture of etched and separates (particularly for the door hinges).

Double and Tapered flywheels. That's looking after the customer well.

The maroon genny would be needed next, but even the least dexterous of us can paint a BR van maroon! We have seen some excellent conversions of BR full vans into gennies here.
The other RPSI genny van will be restored eventually and painted blue.
Hi all,
I am giving serious consideration to designing a MK1 BR genny kit to be used with a Bachmann BCK donor. It will provide all the requisite detail. Brass etched sides, underframe fuel tank, roof mounted exhaust and air intake modules, water feed opes, as well as transfers for both versions.
I'm using the Bach donor as it has superb roof detail that matches very closely to the CIE prototype.
Expected cost will be c.€25. Sound interesting?

That is a classy looking labour of love.

Gents, I have nickle silver etches available to do the ventilated windows, nameplates, celtic motif and to kitbash the observation carriage rear windows, as well as a decal pack for the other detail.
Drop me a line if interested.

€400 a year for Photophucket hosting is just ...a bit too heavy for most enthusiasts. They clearly want to wash out the amateurs.

Well that's made my day!

Eoin,
Came across an RMWeb discussion of Mick Chinery's motors, and it also suggested using Hallery's motors

Coming along sweet as a nut Eoin. A lot more finicky than the G version! I look forward to the motorising description.

Love the look of them crossing the bridge Eamonn.Really is top class
Agreed. That is a lovely diorama. Telegraph pole, shaggy hedges, hilly background, rivetted bridge, school bus. As irish as glugging a bottle of TK sweating it in the back of a Morris Marina while your dad puffs a Carrols on your way to the match.

Absolutely lovely and perfect in every way. Industrial Light & Magic pre-CGI would hire you on the spot.
Love the weathering and precision of all the little details.
