Can anyone tell me did Jim Poots ever do a kit of this bus
-
I'd say it would be a good candidate for a die-cast model... a few livery variations to entice collectors to purchase a few apiece: blue & cream, tan, and green. Maybe even the Smarties bus, too (or was that a different class)?
Don't forget the driving school livery Pat. I learnt to drive and took my test in one of these. Over 20 years ago now God where has the time gone.

Oh yes Fran you've just hit the nail on the head. Sweet:-bd

They sure are Anthony, she's straight out of the box. There's a rake of lifting rings to fit to the roof though which should be fun! I have a maroon one on order too. I'd say you'll be able to pick up a Heljan one cheap on eBay now. I have one and while the roof front is a bit wrong they're excellent runners. I won't be parting with mine. Dapol one is a good price for what you get though. All wheel drive too!
I don't think I'd be bothered with the Heljan one Fran I've been thinking about the Dapol for a while now in either the BR blue like yours or the maroon more than likely the blue and then weather her with faded/bleached paint work etc.

Stunning just stunning
I'm thinking I might be tempted to get one myself Fran and not a bad price in Hattons either are the detail pipes fitted at the factory

All changed now since I served my time in the local rag

Anthony-I have the same problem with my 8208 when operating light engine.it's fitted with a MM chip, would the same settings apply to this chip as heirflicks Bachmann?
Yes Noel just read the value of CV3 and increase it until you are happy with the result any problems give me a ring and I'll talk you through it Bro

new not second hand.
M.
Knowing Northman its probably sat in the box and never been run so as good as new and a very good price
-
No probs Bud let me know how you get on forgot to say CV3's max I think is 255 and always set CV4 roughly 1 third less than CV3 for more realistic running.

Just finished painting and weathering 233 in the Enterprise livery. Here she is on her maiden voyage and as 201boy wanted some container action well what better that to put her on the Ballina Liner. ENJOY:tumbsup:
