Does anybody know much about Honowell diecast vehicles

They have a very "Cararama" look to them, and seem to be around 1/72.

These were bought a long time ago, maybe 25 years, and were lost in the depths until surfacing very recently, slightly battered, but nice nonetheless.

Just wondering about the company and what happened to them.
