Mike
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a model train in a thrift store. Such an amazing find I can’t believe it !!! I was wondering would you be able to tell me anything about it at all. I’m really fascinated by the model and am thinking of starting a collection perhaps. Have to start somewhere thanks so much in advance. It has DB 290 061-1 on the side and “TRIX” underneath the model.

Series 291 In contrast to the 290, which was equipped with the V12 engine of the 212 series, the 291 series was equipped with an 8-cylinder. colour variants The vehicles were delivered in crimson and were repainted to the new ocean blue and ivory colour scheme from the mid-1970s.
