Glenderg has posted some great pics in this thread any one know what the reason behind the fitting of the headboard is on the wagon?

It's an anti-theft device. The containers were placed on them with the door side up against the headboard. No way to get access while in transit.

 

That's what I was told by the Tralee Station Master anyways...

Thanks Des that sounds like the idea i sort of had in the back of my mind but i could,nt understand why they did,nt fit them at both ends to avoid turning containers which is probably just as easy at the end of the day.
