Railtours Ireland Emerald Isle Pullman

Railtours Ireland First Class are operating the first of their 2024 weeklong exclusive and private charters from Monday 3rd June 2024. Starting in Dublin Connolly the charter will visit Waterford, Killarney, Cork, Cobh, Galway, Westport and Belfast before finishing the following Monday at Dublin Connolly.

I was invited to travel on the first day of the tour from Dublin to see the set up of the train and the catering provision onboard. During the break in Waterford guests were taken on a tour of the city to the Waterford Crystal visitor centre. Once that was completed the train departed Waterford and headed to Killarney where the guests would spend the next three nights. I had to leave the train at Mallow to head back north to Thurles.
