Looking for configuration of lights and colour of lights when in straight ahead and off to junction or siding. Found this link but any other info welcome. http://www.railsigns.co.uk/overseas/ireland1/ireland1.html Ta' date=' Wiggy.[/quote'] Hi Wiggy, Colour light shunt signals on the IE network consist of one red light on the left hand side and one white light on the right hand side when showing a danger aspect, When a train is to enter a yard or siding a proceed aspect consisting of a vertical white light above the right hand white light is given with the red light extinguished and is an indication to the driver to proceed at caution and be prepared to stop short of any train or obstruction that may be in the way, Around the Dublin area multiple routes can be given with the one ground signal-e.g apart from the vertical position-straight ahead,a 45 degree angled two white lights can be give to go to a left, A shunt signal in Ballina before the CTC was introduced had the ground shunt signal as described above but with a route indicator placed on top with the letters'P'T'G'F and when used in conjunction with the two white lights meant that a train was to be routed to the Platform,Through,Gantry or Fertiliser road. Thats the only type of model ground shunt signal I can find at the moment but still looking. Ta Wiggy.
