Captcha issues for new users trying to register

Hi, a friend is trying to register for this site but is having issues with the captcha. He's getting an error message, looks like there is an issue with site. Is anyone aware of any issues?

Some browsers in privacy mode won't accept CAPTHCA. He should try another browser and see if it makes a difference.
