Am setting up a New thread in order to keep on assembling this Motley crew of 2ft rule rolling stock. 

First up, a slaters brake van kit I picked up for €5 at the MRSI show. Not at all Irish, however, a cut and shut method was utilised here, and behold, a decent imposter for a MGWR 1877 brake.

The prototype in question. Anyone have any idea what liveries these wore or how long they lasted?

The kit, unfortunately lacked a balcony. An extensive rebuild was required. 

The end result, not too shabby, but I'm just after realizing the steps are still on the side. Bit late . I won't tell anyone though.... A guard and paint should distract. Handrails and fine details still to be added.
