“Duchess of Gloucester” Excellent / Boxed.

 

Here we have Hornby R2179 LMS Coronation Scot No6225. “Duchess of Gloucester” in LMS Crimson with gold lining & lettering.

 

The Locomotive is in excellent condition with very little running apart from testing.

I have tested it on a rolling road & it ran beautifully in both directions. This is a really impressive looking locomotive.

The box has some storage wear & contains the unopened detail bag as well as the unused extra front bogie which came with these locomotives for large radius curves.

It is of course the later Loco driven version.
