Container Cranes?

Was just wondering about which container crane I should get? I would love the Heljan one, but at the minute at least, it's too expensive and kind of impractical at it's so big and they're really hard to get... If any of yous have past experience or know which ones are good and which aren't, that'd be great!

What if the containers are made of card? Magnets not much use then. How do they work with plastic containers? Do you have to retrofit them with lumps of metal?

Fit another magnet or a small pice of steel (not lumps we don't use lumps of anything in fine scale modelling:)) inside your container very easy and simple to do. I think you might have to do that with the Heljan crane containers as well.
