Prob best then if I don't tell you 111 pulled the coaches into Lisburn down the Antrim branch then 230 coupled up at the other end so the train was 111 + Dutch van + mrk IIs + 230. Oh and 113 pulled a 4car 80 class through Lisburn earlier. Other than that there was nothing much happened today!

Cheers folks

I always remember watchin Michael Palins cross border journey at the time it was aired but I've never been able to find a copy since. Some American company was offering it on VHS a few years back. Would love to watch in again

As with most of my Irish weathering I use Ciaran's excellent eiretrains.com website for photos to base the weathering on, absolutely brilliant resource. Heres the picture the weathered loco is based on

Apologies if posted before, great shots of the best NIR livery ever used along with mildly amusing commentary. Enjoy

Yep the EGV decoders will be available shortly, there are just a few tweaks to remove the ambient noise from the announcements that were working on at the mo.
A Class decoders are pretty much ready to go too, I just need to get half a day to get up to Downpatrick and record the horns then we're complete.
This modelling business is a 24/7 job, never enough hours in the day! Lol

Garfield there's a pic knocking about the web of the four remaining spare coaches doing a special on the bleech green line. Think it was in one of the colourpoint books

Vincent, a recent enterprise set left Belfast for Dublin with 17 people on board, sadly that's not an unusual loading
-
Stephen that's a cracker pic!

The original plan was for 7 coach rakes inc DVT but as popularity of the 'new' enterprise turned out to be greater than expected they were increased to 8 car sets. This was one of the reasons why the engines struggled so much with HEP.
In recent years motorways improvements and NIR and IE getting pathetic path timings down to a fine art have eaten away at enterprise footfall so the sets have been brought back to 7
(I'm open to correction on all of the above)
And you were annoyed when you knocked over your HO Heljan Crane......
