  1. Right so , a high end rtr Dutch van doesn't seem to ruffle to many feathers,. and I thought like Richie they would shift in their

millions 😂 .   Okay plan B now this is not about who makes the unrebuilt van ,but is the sf van of the right shape and look

as I really can't tell ,would much work be needed if not. Secondly dc kits are not stocking the rebuilt Dutch van any more,

so I was thinking does this also have the right look and feel about it ,and if so if enough people expressed interest could doc kits

be approached about a small run, or as jm replied contact a professional model maker. I can also see it would have to be cost effective for anybody to give it a go. like i say if enough expressed intrest we could go from there.

bit long winded this reply , sorry about that.    also if anyone wants to pm me their personal view  on the current  available

dutch vans I would maybe prefer this as I don't want to offend anyone,  just maybe buy 3/4 vans that's all.

  2. Hi all,

.           Didn't want to take the mk2a thread off topic,. so thought I would throw this about and see what happens.

Now I could be wrong , but I think there are more than a few likeminded people as well as myself who would

.           really like to see the above Dutch van ,in my case both unrebuilt and rebuilt being produced to a high spec,

.           Preferably by the  IRM team. ( no pressure lads) . Maybe if we had enough intrest the lads or someone .

might give it some serious consideration ( just a thought)  and not trying to take anything away from what

.          the lads are planning.      I know in the recent poll the Dutch van didn't make any waves,

.              But maybe  just. maybe  someday ? .

    regards john

As if a medal could make up for the way these hero's were treated

Well said Dave,.  Shameful to treat our soldiers  like that.  Little use a medal when some of them  went to their grave thinking

they were tarnished, when in fact they were Heroes.our government at the time were the cowards for letting them down.

  4. thats some work load, I called a halt after building & priming five, with ten more to build.  They are a very enjoyable wagon to

build.    Leslie certainly brought out a winner in this kit and the bullied single beet wagons , fantastic kits.

your shade of brown looks very convincing Robbie,,.  Great job and very well done.

  5. Lovely job on the double beet wagon, the bullied wagon is very well done. I have just finished building 14 of Leslie's brilliant

bullied wagons and was looking to weather them. Your wagon gives me inspiration, the rust effect is great.  Thanks.

  6. Noel,.  that was a pleasure to watch, wasn't sure what to make of it at the start,. but getting a cab view of your fantastic range of stock and layout,.  Well it puts a lighthearted element into a sometimes serious hobby.   Keep the videos coming please. Thanks.

  7. Finally got the chance to give my bubble wagons a good inspection,.  WOW ,.  the level of detail is just outstanding,

these wagons are  exceptional .      A big thank you must go to the four lads for bringing this community such amazing

wagons,.  Without their enthusiasm and commitment for our hobby ,.!  well the wagons speak volumes.

    Thank you .   Stephen,Fran,Patrick& Richie.

  8. Ha , Noel great minds think alike, I did the same as you lined up all the cravens and noticed the difference in the bogies, I then swapped over wheels from an rpsi coach to a standard craven now

admittedly I only run my finger along the wheels, but I saw no wobble on the rpsi coach when wheels were changed then changed

back to original rpsi wheels and wobble was back, as I say I had no track to try this on but i saw a difference. Just to add still glad I got this lovely set of coaches and would in time like to see the

remaining coaches released. Well done rpsi.
