Irish narrow gauge volume 1 and 2 by ferris €10 each, also johnsons railway atlas and gazetteer of irish railways €15 or €30 for the lot, can be collected in Portlaoise or will post for extra. PayPal accepted.
Downsizing my collection of railway books as a house move is approaching. I accept that not all are Irish but may be of interest. €50 takes the lot but would prefer collection as they are heavy and postage would probably be prohibitive. Can be collected in Portlaoise or Thurles. Thanks.

I don't have access to a scanner unfortunately. Also I took a load of pics at the the time, I wouldn't have time to scan them even if I had access to a scanner! must be nearly 20 years ago when I took the pics of a rake of them stabled in Thurles on PWD duty not long after Silvermines closed. Someone give me an address and I will happily put them in the post!
I have some good quality pics I took many years ago of a barytes rake stabled in Thurles if anyone wants them. I will stick them in an envelope FOC! Free of charge that is!
That wagon is still sitting in the stub of the old Kilkenny line in Clonminam Portlaoise as of today. Looks a bit sad and forlorn although surely it's been earmarked for preservation as lots of wagons have come and gone from that location for scrapping.
I have a boxed unbuilt MIR cement bubble looking for a good home. €15 + €7 for registered post in Ireland. I will throw in a Hornby box van in CIE brown livery for free! I may have a chassis of an MIR bogie fert wagon if there is any interest. Steve.
