Hunslet 102
thank you very much for your comments,
the woodwork has to be tidied up it's a little rough in places.
the buildings and the bridges are homemade, I scratch built from card.
as for the best layout i've ever seen, check this out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNo5F6vlVuY

Hi BosKonay,
It's been a while.. i've been unwell.
The top level is no more scrapped.
I just wasn't happy with it.
Started a new section with a main line station, i've scratch built some buildings and bridges small bridges this time.
i'll post some pictures soon.
Thanks for the interest

A couple of Fran's (Warbonnet) new engines on the layout

burnthebox,
when I was originally marking out the 8x4 sheets for cutting, I marked out the track radius at the same time.
I used peco track gauge for the spacing.

no, i like BR, i have a lot of steam but i haven't ran it on this layout yet.
my preference would be LNER

Fran,
I installed that bridge on the layout this afternoon.
your UP Gas Turbine had no problems,
just eased it through, with the help of a hammer and some WD40
-
It's based loosely on a bridge in Killenard, portarlington.
-
it's mounting card, it's the board the used for picture framing.
metcalfe paving slabs for the corner stones and edging.
the stone effect is done with fine ballast.

I have it wired on each level and all the storage tracks are wired individually but all the rail is soldered on the joints.
-
i wish i could have purchased it all in one go

It's taking shape Anthony,
Only the top level will have scenery,
I don't fancy ballasting 2000 plus ft of track.....
